![]() ![]() VO might have a correlation to bad writing, but it's not a causation. ![]() VO doesn't make you write fundamentally broken plots or bad characters, it doesn't make you write bland and unimaginative quest designs, it doesn't cause you to remove RPing system and elements that provide meaningful tools for the player to use. Those that don't usually have a lot of other more questionable choices that effect writing and dialogue options than just VO. Plenty of games have managed to do both well. A game has bad writing and choices because it has bad writing and choices, not because it has VO. I've never fully agreed with that fear or belief, especially if the player character is silent. I'm not worried VO will impact writing and choices. I mean, only recently did PS4 officially support mods through. Will there be a feature that allows for custom portraits Is there currently such a feature on the PS4 version of POE 1 Modding is really a PC thing. BioWare might have the budget for that, but not many others, least of all Obsidian. I plan on getting POE 2 when it releases for consoles.
